Esther BurroughsEsther Burroughs is a speaker, writer, and founder and director of Esther Burroughs Ministries: Treasures of the Heart, a ministry based in Birmingham, AL. She travels extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada, addressing women in venues ranging from small group retreats to arena events. She is the author of Engraved By GraceA Garden Path to Mentoring, and Empowered!: Claiming the Power of the Holy Spirit. Esther is a previous assistant director of special ministries and assistant director for field staff at the Southern Baptist Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board), where she also promoted strategies of evangelism for women. A graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, she is also a former campus minister at Samford University.


Chris AdamsChris Adams is senior lead women's ministry specialist for LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville, TN. Prior to her employment at LifeWay in December 1994, she was special ministries coordinator at Green Acres Baptist Church of Tyler, TX, coordinating women’s ministry and missions education. She is an ongoing guest teacher for New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary’s Women’s Certificate Program. Chris has been a consultant, speaker, and conference leader in a variety of church and denominational roles. She is the compiler of Women Reaching Women: Beginning and Building a Growing Women’s Enrichment Ministry and Transformed Lives: Taking Women’s Ministry to the Next Level, a contributor to Leading Women to the Heart of God, guest editor of Journey, and has written for various publications.


Ann RiceAnn Rice works with senior adults at First Baptist Church of Little Rock, AR. A Sunday School teacher since the age of 13, she continues to teach and speaks to women and senior adults at treatreats and conferences.

Margaret KennedyMargaret Kennedy is an author and founder of Threads of Hope Ministries, a speaking and writing ministry based in Dothan, AL. She is co-author of LifeWay's Heart Friends: Beginning and Maintaining a Small Accountability Group. She is also a LifeWay Ministry Multiplier and a certified C.L.A.S.S. (Christian Leaders, Authors and Speakers Seminar) graduate. Margaret teaches a weekly radio program, the Kingdom Seekers Sunday School Class.

Michelle MarinobleMichelle Marinoble is conference director for After Eve, a young women's conference helping women discover what biblical womanhood looks like in the 21st century. She is director of small groups and ministry teams for Frontline, the young adult ministry of McLean Bible Church in McLean, VA. After graduating from Virginia Tech, she served on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of Virginia and the University of Melbourne in Australia.


Jimmie DavisJimmie Davis is director of girls’ ministries for First Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC. She is author of Girl's Ministry Handbook, Virtual You!, and Girls’ Enrichment Ministry: Raising A New Generation of Women. Jimmie attended Converse College and has an Advanced Certificate in Women’s Ministry from the New Orleans Theological Seminary.


Julie WoodruffJulie Woodruff is women's minister at Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN. She also writes Bible study curriculum and contributes articles to ministry leadership magazines, and is author of leader material and learning activities for discipleship resources written by T.W. Hunt and Beth Moore. Julie is a graduate of Louisiana College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.


Lauren FarmerLauren Farmer is a recent graduate of Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, where she received a master of divinity in women’s leadership. During her time in Louisville, she served as associate director of student life and instructor of Christian education at Boyce College, the undergraduate school of Southern Seminary. Lauren has worked with young women at various churches and para-churches organizations.


Kaye Hurta is a singer, speaker, Christian counselor, minister’s wife, and stay-at-home mom from Arlington Heights, IL. She is a former dean of women, counseling female students at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, where she was also active musically through the Old Time Gospel Hour ministry. Kaye was involved musically and administratively with various ministries at First Baptist Church of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, as well as a featured soloist in their nationally televised Christmas pageant, One Amazing Night. She continues to sing in a variety of ministry settings. Kaye is a graduate of Liberty University.

Cancellation policy
If you wish to cancel your registration 30 or more days before the event, you will receive a refund of 50% of your conference fees (does not apply to lodging charges). There is no refund if cancellation is received less than 30 days before the event.  We encourage you to take advantage of the ministry opportunity to transfer your registration to another person, or you may apply your registration to another similar LifeWay event.

From Greensboro via Wendover Ave: From I-40 West, take Exit 214 to Wendover Ave. Turn left onto West Wendover Ave. and travel 4.8 miles. Turn left onto Highway 68 / Eastchester Dr. and travel 7.2 miles (Highway 68 becomes Eastchester Dr. and then Westchester Dr.). Turn left onto Phillips Ave. Church is 0.6 miles on the left.

From Greensboro via I-85 South: From I-40 West / I-85 South, take Exit 123. Travel 5.1 miles on I-85 South. Take the Business I-85 / High Point exit, and travel 8.5 miles to the West Green Dr. exit. Turn Right onto West Green Dr. and travel 0.6 miles. Turn left onto Market Center Dr. and travel 2.7 miles (Market Center Dr. becomes Westchester Dr.). Turn right onto Phillips Ave. Church is 0.6 miles on the left.

From Asheboro via 311 North: Take Highway 311 North to Market Center Dr. (Note: Market Center Dr. is 0.51 miles north of Business I-85 bridge). Turn left onto Market Center and travel 3.9 miles (Market Center Dr. becomes Westchester Dr.). Turn right onto Phillips Ave. Church is 0.6 miles on the left.

From Winston Salem via Highway 311 S: From I-40 East, take Highway 311 S. Travel 10 miles to the High Point / 311 exit. Travel 2 miles to the Eastchester Dr. / Westchester Dr. intersection. Turn right onto Westchester Dr. and travel 2.68 miles. Turn right onto Phillips Ave. Church is 0.6 miles on the left.

From Salisbury, NC: From I-85 North, take Exit 87 to Business I-85 / 29 / 70 toward High Point. Travel 18.8 miles and exit onto the Highway 68 / Piedmont Triad International Airport ramp. Turn left onto Highway 68 and travel 2.6 miles to the intersection of English Rd. and Highway 68. Turn left at intersection and travel 1.5 miles to Phillips Ave. Turn right onto Phillips Ave. Church is 0.6 miles on the left.
