My boyfriend and I read it every day and we are on week 2. We are learning so much and This book is is perfect. We were reading a lot of the scriptures that are used in the book prior to purchasing it and that just goes to show how amazing God he. God will bring things into your life when you least expect it. This book could not have came in a more pefect time. Wish I could write a book on how this book is blessing our lives. :) Just remember***Our gifts are to bring people closer to Christ not ourselves*** Have a Great Day!

This material was chosen as a topical study at church. Seventeen gifts are studied in detail and a couple others are mentioned over the 6 week course. Mr. Francis walks the reader through different groups of gifts each week. Examples of actions are listed to give you ideas to examine yourself or those you know for each particular gift. There are several questions in each day's study to help you drive the points home. Scripture is referenced throughout the study and is written in the margins of each day's lesson. All of our class has found it very informative and easy to work through. This study is a wonderful way for a class or small group to work through studying Spiritual Gifts. Wonderful material and I highly recomend it.

I really loved teaching this book! I learned so much from it and so did my class. It was also a good disciplining method because it requires daily readings. The book is very easy to understand and helps college students discover their gifts that God has given them, and with it they can serve the church but also find their vision and plan in their life!!

I LOVE this book. It is written on a layman''s level and so easy to understand and read. Several years ago I did a self study in this book and got RECHARGED in my Christian life and really discovered what my Spiritual Gifts were and now my flame is re-lit. I was so excited by it I asked my pastor to let me teach a disciple class which was greatly accepted. I now carry this book and my notes in my backpack along with my Bible and constantly share with people helping them find their gifts.

The author does not do a very good job qualifying his statements as unsupported opinions based on church tradition, not on biblical truths. Some of the scriptures he uses are taken out of context or are misinterpreted. This was a very challenging study to do with moderately educated believers because they got more tied up in expressing their frustrations with Mr. Francis than on discussing the principles. The only way to salvage the study was to get the students to focus on appreciating how the gifts work together and on appreciating the different approaches to exercising some of the same gifts.
