Dislike? You mean, there was anything that anyone could possibly dislike about this? It is the one of the best Bible studies I have ever done, but all of Beth's work is the best! I can easily respect the voice of God in her work.

One of the best, or actually "the best" study I have ever done. My relationship with Christ has deepened and become more personal than I ever thought possible. The videos to this study are sensational. The study is great on its own, but if you have a chance to watch the tapes, don't miss the extra blessings!

Beth had to have drawn tremendously from her relationship with God to have been able to get the insight into the life of David like she did. Never before have I looked at David's life in such depth, nor have I been able to apply it to my life like I have through this study. Our discipleship training class has started taking two weeks on each lesson because it is so in-depth. The videos are an excellent resource. I have experienced a great deal of growth in all areas of my life since I began this study. I have been compelled to tell anyone who will listen how much this study has improved my walk with God.

I love this study. I am a born again Christian and this book is what I needed to read the most. In reading this book, it tells me that God made me and nothing that I do can tear me away from His love. David's life proved that!! God is a merciful God. I have been truly blessed by this book. I am now studying another one of Beth Moore's books! Thank you Beth!

It's been said before, but this was the first Beth Moore study I have done, it is the most in-depth Bible study I have done. If you are use to traditional SBC discipleship studies, you will want to caution members that it will compel them to draw closer to God, but will require more time than they are use to giving. At least I found that to be true. I can do other daily studies in a half-hour but this takes me 45 minutes to an hour and a half. But it's SO worth it. Also, if you are a small church and cannot afford the videos -- still do the study. I thought we probably shouldn't do the study if we could not afford the vidoes, but the book can and does stand on its own. The vidoes provide some really good in-depth teaching, but you can get enormous benefit from the books alone. They complement each other but are not dependent on each other. We are doing it in 21-weeks, versus the 11-week format. We do discussion one week, and the video the next. The good part about the longer format is that there is time to complete the studies still in a half-hour a day. The bad part is 21 weeks guarantees more absentism. I like the longer format anyway, and it fits with our one-hour discipleship time. The study is absolutey spectacular! Don't miss it. I've already decided I'll do another Beth Moore study on my own if we do not offer one in our next discipleship series at church. If you are trying to decide -- go with it!

I have studied the life of David from the time I was little all the way through Bibleschool and Seminary. I have done many different bible-studies by many well-known authors and Christian leaders, but this study is without a doubt the best study I have ever come across. It opened my eyes to the life of David in a completely new way and challenged me spiritually in a way no other study ever has. I can hardly wait to get ahold of another study by Beth Moore.

It was the truth. So many times we don't want to deal with the truth; but as she makes you see, the truth will set you free. Our group of 10-15 ladies worked hard on this study and realized what a stronghold that pride has on all of us. God is the focus, not us....seeing that has meant all the world to me.

Beth takes you through the scripture in such a way you feel you are "there". I can't describe how this has impacted my life except to say I bought a set of the videos after taking the course and have watched them countless times--learning something new each time. I have helped facilitate this course 3 times and shared the videos with friends. This course is a "must do"!!!

Beth has a way of making you feel like you are right there with David through his life. Studying the Bible with Beth is refreshing and enlightening. I love how this study brings the life of David so alive. We are able to relate to him on a daily basis. It give us a fresh understanding of how important it is for EVERYONE to have an intimate realtionship with the Lord that is cultivated on a daily basis!!! It is scary to see what can happen when we fail to meet with our God daily and depend on Him for direction. We also see that when we repent God is waiting for us to return to him once again with open arms. Willing to forgive and restore. I encourage everyone to complete this study. It is worth the time and energy spent in doing.

I am growing in the Lord more and more everyday! Beth's love of the scriptures is contagious. She brings it to life and it touches my heart. I love her videos. She is one of the most dynamic speakers I have EVER heard. That is when you know the person is lead by the Lord. The Lord speaks through Beth. So refreshing!
