Steve joined Church Architecture in 2006 and serves as an architect with primary responsibilities for project conceptualization and design.
He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University. Before joining Church Architecture, Steve managed the Illinois office of OMS Architects and Engineers based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to his work at OMS, he was a principal with FGM Architects in Mount Vernon, Illinois where he specialized in the design and management of education facility projects across the state.
Soon after joining LifeWay Church Architecture he played a major role in the completion of the construction documents for a twelve hundred seat worship and education expansion for First Baptist Church of Lenexa, Kansas.
Steve considers his work with Church Architecture as a ministry of helping churches plan well, make good decisions, and be good stewards of God’s blessings. He is experienced in the design and management of small and very large projects, designing attractive, cost effective and functional structures in partnership with the church leadership team.
Steve married his high school sweetheart and has three daughters. He enjoys playing basketball, golfing, wood working, antiques and spending time with his family.
