This page contains information on how to use the Christian Growth Study Plan (CGSP) Report Request System to request reports. In addition, you will find information on how to obtain the free Adobe Acrobat Reader which is used to view, save and print requested reports.

To learn more about the Christian Growth Study Plan, access the catalog below. The catalog is available online as well as in print format. Here, you will find information on how to use the system and all of the available diploma plans. Accessing the Christian Growth Study Plan Report Request System

This page allows you to logon to the CGSP Report Request System. All participants of the Christian Growth Study Plan are assigned a Logon ID and PIN for access to this report request system.

To Logon:

  1. Enter your Logon ID. Click in the box next to the Logon ID prompt. Type in your CGSP Logon ID.
  2. Enter your PIN. Click in the box next to the PIN prompt. Type in your 4 digit PIN.
  3. Click the Submit button.

If you do not have your CGSP Logon ID or you have forgotten your PIN, call the Christian Growth Study Plan support group at 1-800-968-5519.

PIN Maintenance

The Change PIN page allows you to change the PIN you use to logon to the CGSP Report Request System. Your CGSP PIN is used solely for the purpose of accessing the CGSP Report Request System and should remain confidential.

To change your PIN:

  1. Enter your current PIN number.
  2. Enter your new PIN number.
  3. Re-enter your new PIN number.
  4. Click the Change PIN button.

If your PIN number has been successfully updated, a message will appear stating that the PIN was successfully updated. If an error message appears, repeat steps 1-4.

To exit the Change PIN page, click on the "Return to previous page" hyperlink.

The Change PIN page can only be accessed after successfully logging on to the CGSP Report Request System. If you need to change your PIN and you do not have your CGSP Logon ID or you have forgotten your PIN, call the Christian Growth Study Plan support group at 1-800-968-5519.

Selecting a Report

The Select Report page allows you to request a CGSP report. The report, once requested will be sent to the email address displayed.

An Email address is required to request a report. It will be used to send the completed report message once the report has been processed. The Email address will be accessed from the last report request, if available. The Email address can be changed for each report request.

The reports available for request are displayed when you click on the arrow of the box next to the Select Desired Report prompt. One report is requested each time.

To Request a Report:

  1. Verify Email Address
    1. If blank, Enter new Email Address.
    2. If an Email Address exists, update if desired and continue to the next step.
  2. Select Desired Report. Click on the arrow of the box next to the Select Desired Report prompt. Click on the desired report and it will display in the box.
  3. Click Request Report button.

Entering Report Criteria

The Report Parameter page allows you to define criteria to tailor the report to your specific needs. Most reports allow limited criteria to be defined by the report requester to determine the information to be included in the requested report. The report parameters are different for each report requested.

To Enter Report Parameters:

  1. Click in the box next to each prompt and enter requested information.
  2. Click Submit button

If the parameters are accepted, the system will continue to the next page. If errors occur, an error message will display. Read the message and click on Return to previous page to correct parameters. Use the Reset Parameters button if neccessary to re-enter parameters.

Report Confirmations

The Report Confirmation page verifies that a successful report request has been processed. This page should be read thorougly to understand how to access your completed reports. Once this screen has been displayed and you have read it carefully, additional reports can be requested or the CGSP Report Request System can be closed.

To Request Another Report:

  1. Click Request Another Report button.

Viewing a Requested Report

An Email message will be sent to the Email address entered with the report request once the requested report has been successfully generated and is available for access. The Email address will include instructions on how to access the specific report requested. The report will be available for 7 days at the location denoted in the Email message.

Viewing Reports:

  1. Read Email message to obtain the URL (Internet address)
  2. Open an Internet browser (Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  3. Enter URL included in Email message

The Adobe Acrobat Reader will be invoked and the requested report will be displayed. If the Adobe Acrobat Reader has not been installed, an error message will display. To install the Adobe Acrobat Reader go to the Downloading the Adobe Acrobat Reader section of this document for instructions on beginning the installation of the Adobe Acrobat Reader. Once the Adobe Acrobat Reader has been installed, repeat step #3.

Saving/Printing a Requested Report

An Email message will be sent to the Email address entered with the report request once the requested report has been successfully generated and is available for access. Saving/Printing Reports:

  1. Read Email message to obtain the URL (Internet address)
  2. Open an Web browser (Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  3. Enter URL included in Email message

The Adobe Acrobat Reader will be invoked and the requested report will be displayed. If the Adobe Acrobat Reader has not been installed, an error message will display. To install the Adobe Acrobat Reader go to the Downloading the Adobe Acrobat Reader section of this document for instructions on beginning the installation of the Adobe Acrobat Reader. Once the Adobe Acrobat Reader has been installed, begin with step #3.

To Save:

  1. Click File from the menu at the top left of the screen
  2. Click Save As
  3. Enter name of file to save report to and click on the Save button

To Print:

  1. Click File from the menu at the top left of the screen
  2. Click Print

Downloading the Adobe Acrobat Reader

Requested reports are provided in a format known as Portable Document Format (.pdf). In order to view, print and/or save the report, your MUST have the Adobe Acrobat Reader. The Adobe Acrobat Reader can be obtained free of charge from the Adobe Systems Incorporated Web site. To download the Adobe Acrobat reader now, double-click on the "Get Acrobat Reader" picture below.

The Adobe Acrobat Reader download site will provide instructions on how to download the Acrobat Reader software and how to install it on you computer. Please follow the instructions carefully.

Using the CGSP Course Catalog

The course catalog is organized in three areas. When you are interested in Leadership and Skill Development plans, click on Leadership and Skills. Then select English or Spanish. A list of all the ministry areas will drop down as a navigation tool. The introduction on the right side will explain how to use the Leadership and Skill Development plans. Just click on the ministry area you need and you will find the plan for that area on the right side of the screen. For resource information, click on the resource titles.

When you are interested in Christian Growth plans, click on Christian Growth in the navigation tool. Then click on English or Spanish. The information on the right side will explain how to develop your own plans using the various subject areas and ministry-developed plans. A list of the Christian Growth subject areas and ministry-developed plans will drop down under English or Spanish. Click on the subject area or plan that interests you. It will appear on the right side of the screen. For resource information, click on the resource titles.

If you have a resource, but do not know where to find it in the CGSP plans, click on Resource Search.

Requesting Course Credit

When you have completed a course, click on Request Credit. Fill out the form and click Submit. Your request will be emailed directly to the Christian Growth Study Plan staff. They will process your request. If your course credit results in a certificate, the system will mail your certificate to your church office identified in our database. If you do not have a church identification in the database, it will be mailed to your home address.
