Christian Growth
The Christian Growth category of diploma
plans is designed to assist you in your personal life journey
with Jesus Christ. You can create your own diploma plans to
meet your own needs and pursue your personal interests.
If you are a church leader, you can use the
Christian Growth category as a curriculum map in planning
relevant study offerings for your church family.
All of the Christian Growth courses are
resources. They are arranged in 13 subject areas. The
following four ways can be used to customize your diploma
plans in the Christian Growth category. When you request
course credit, you are electronically enrolled in the
appropriate diploma plans.
- Subject Area Diploma Plans - Select
one subject area then complete five courses listed under
that subject area. When credit is requested for the fifth
course, you will automatically receive the Christian
Growth Study Plan diploma. It will contain your name, the
title of the subject area diploma plan, and the category
Christian Growth. You may use this approach as often as desired.
Note that not all
subject areas have five courses at this time. These are in
development for future use.
- Spiritual Enrichment Diploma Plans - Select five courses from
different subject areas. Upon completion of the fifth
course, you will automatically receive the Christian
Growth Study Plan diploma. It will contain your name, the
diploma plan title Spiritual Enrichment, and the category
Christian Growth.
This approach is
excellent for customizing diploma plans to meet your needs and
interests. You can use this approach as often as desired.
- One-Course Diploma Plans - Many of the Christian Growth courses
earn diplomas by themselves. These resources take 10 or
more hours to study and complete. On the following pages,
these course/resources are identified by the symbol
"+."
When you request
course credit, you will automatically receive the Christian
Growth Study Plan diploma containing your name, the title of
the course/resource, and the category Christian Growth.
This approach
provides in depth studies for individuals and groups. Group
study is not required. These diploma plans include the LIFE
courses and the Lay Bible Academy courses.
- Ministry-Developed Diploma Plans - The people who developed the diploma
plans discovered the need to suggest Christian Growth
category diploma plans for specific audiences. These
diploma plans are listed by title. Credit for each of
these courses will be automatically applied toward the
Ministry-Developed diploma plan, the Subject Area diploma
plan, and the Spiritual Enrichment diploma.
When the fifth
course is completed, the Christian Growth Study Plan diploma
is issued containing your name, the diploma plan title, and
the category Christian Growth. The Christian Growth Study Plan
electronically relates the five courses to the specific
diploma plan.
