Catch it at Rec Lab 2010

"He persevered, as one who sees Him who is invisible." Hebrews 11:27, HCSB

April 25-29, 2010

Ridgecrest Conference Center, near Asheville - North Carolina

REC LAB is the oldest and most attended conference on the use of sports and recreation as ministry tools in the world. REC LAB is interdenominational in scope with an evangelistic core. It is the one conference that teaches attendees the ins and outs of the broad scope of sports and recreation ministry in any size church. REC LAB is the place to learn how to make those efforts intentionally evangelistic and discipleship oriented. The conference is designed to meet the needs of the attendees providing relevant and interesting seminars led by practitioners in the field, spirit filled worship and a low key schedule. REC LAB is unique in the fact that along with the technical how to’s of the work; it provides intentional times for refreshing and refocusing during worship and personal leisure.

Every church uses recreation and sports in its ministry at some point. The problem is most churches do not know how to make sure intentional ministry happens using these unique tools. If you can only make it to one conference, REC LAB should be the one – because it is practical in application, personally refreshing and inspirational to the spirit.

James Tealy has spent most of his life calling the deeply soulful city of New Orleans home. In the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, Tealy and his wife decided to head north. It's in Nashville, TN that worship leader and singer/songwriter Tealy currently serves on staff with Mosaic Church. Like many Nashvillians, James Tealy is a multi-tasker. When he’s not writing songs for a diverse crop of artists as a staff songwriter at Centricity Music, Tealy integrates his deeply personal insights on love, faith, and mission into his own material--most recently on the release "The Hardest Step to Land."
