2009 LifeWay Mission Trip to Thailand

Mission Event:
The LifeWay team will be working with the Southern Cross Project. The team will be distributing Bibles and packets to Chinese tourists coming to Thailand. In addition, the team will have the opportunity to assist assembling packets, minister to the Thai people and provide them with some basic need items. Team members should be prepared to share their testimony and the gospel message.

• Located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, Pattaya is a popular beach resort destination.
• The city receives millions of visitors each year, many coming from East Asia.
• The average temperatures in October range from the mid 70’s to the mid 80’s.
• October is the end of their hot and rainy season as November ushers in their warm and dry season.
• Thailand is 95% Buddhist and less than 1% Christian.
