A Law Enforcement Officer's Highway of Life
Life may be a highway, but life is also ALL ABOUT COMMUNICATION
Communication within ourselves (making peace within ourselves)
Communications with our family
Communications with our peers
Communications with our Superiors
Communications with the Public
Communications with the world at large
It is during the process of trying to communicate effectively and successfully that we find ourselves:
"Hitting the Pothole"
"In the Five Car Pileup"
"Going the Wrong Way Down a One Way Street"
"Falling Off the Edge or the Cliff" and encountering numerous other "road hazzards."
Utilizing these every day events and disasters that every officer deals with, we have developed a series of breakout conferences for those who attend this event. The classes are designed for officers to participate in and utilize the information learned to have deeper and more effective communication with God through their inner /internal personal issues that are critical to an officer's ability to deal with the every day stresses of his/her high stress career in a way that allows them to maintain a healthy self-perspective and encourages sound communication skills in their walk with God, with their family and at work.
Breakout Conferences Will Include But Are Not Limited To:
BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND
(1) “Law Enforcement Dynamics”
(2) “Family, God’s Plan for Survival”
(3) “Managing Family and Critical Incident Stress”
(4) “God Picks His Leaders”

(6) “You Can’t Give What You Don’t Have”
NEW IN 2009

Their responsibility will be to deliver this year's theme; "Cop On a Wire" They will feature a training designed to assist in a workable understanding of how to deal with the ever present suggestion that Christian officers could be: "too conservative to be good cops and too liberal to be active church members. |
