Singles Labor Day - A Weekend Adventure

Banner

September 3-6, 2010

Singles Labor Day Adventure

Presented by Single Labor Day Adventure Team and Ridgecrest Conference Center - Check back for more information.  Details for this great event should be posted by December 2009.

Join hundreds of single adults of all ages for an experience with God in the mountains. A great time for connecting with friends, meeting new friends, learning, trying new things, worshipping God, and enjoying beautiful Ridgecrest.

How to Reach Young AdultsYou will have the opportunity to choose to participate in two different tracks.

• Conference Track:  20+ first class conferences with lots of choices and a variety of relevant topics.

• Outdoor Adventure Track: Challenging 'add-on' cost activities like rafting, biking, rappelling, horseback riding and more. In addition, to these off-campus activities, enjoy fun on-campus activities including laser tag, high ropes, miniature golf, tennis and so much more.

That means that you and/or your group can customize your weekend. Spend one day outdoors and the next day taking in as many conferences as you like. Or, spend both days doing conferences or outdoor adventures. It doesn't get any better than that.

What is the "age range" for singles that attend this weekend? Would 20's and 30's be good or is it the older "senior" adult singles that attend this? Thanks for an answer

The age group varies from year to year. In the past, the larger percentage of singles have been in the 30's to 40's with some older. However, this year the "outdoor adventure" track is being offered and so there is potential for a larger group of younger singles to attend who will want to spend their days outside rafting, mountain climbing, hiking, horseback riding, etc.

Is there any available information as to where this event will be held?

I am 38 and divorced and have attended this conference before. It works for all ages and circumstances. Wonderful speakers and praise time. Great weekend retreat to meet new people and fellowship with other Christian singles. Am planning on attending again this summer. Any questions, email me at kandle70@yahoo.com. God Bless!

We are looking at next year's calendar. Will this conference be offered in 2010?

Is this session appropriate for the 50 year olds that are single again?

Yes, these sessions are appropriate for singles of all ages regardless of their circumstances. We do have some singles that will come as groups from various churches, but the majority of singles that attend this event come on their own or with one or two friends.

It sounds like this will be a great event. I like that there will be a mix of classroom time and outdoor activities. Especially in such a beautiful part of GOD's country.

Do you usually have groups come or do individuals? I would like to come, but would probably be alone.
