Priscilla Shirer

Priscilla Shirer is an inspiring Bible teacher, popular author, and internationally acclaimed speaker. Her desire is to see women everywhere better understand who they are in Christ by hearing the enduring truth of Scripture. For over a decade she has shared the deep truths of Scripture in a simple, straightforward way that assists the listener in applying truth to her life.

Priscilla is married to her best friend Jerry. Together they have founded Going Beyond Ministries, where the message of God’s desire for a passionate love relationship with His children is boldly proclaimed. Jerry and Priscilla live in Dallas and take seriously their main role of parents to their three young sons, Jude, Jackson and Jerry Jr.

One in a Million: Journey to Your Promised Land
Join Priscilla Shirer on an exploration of the Israelites’ journey from Egypt to a land of deliverance. Of the original two million who received God’s invitation to enter the Promised Land, only two actually entered it. Similarly, only a handful of modern-day Christians experience God and live the life of abundance that He promises. Shirer encourages others to see the goodness of God in their lives, live beyond their circumstances and expect to see God move in miraculous ways in their everyday existence.

Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed: A Study of David
Taped at Deeper Still 2007, Priscilla Shirer, Beth Moore, and Kay Arthur explored three stages of David's life in six Bible study sessions. You’ll laugh with them, cry with them, and learn to love God with them. These authors' messages are divided into three segments, two lessons each. Each segment focuses on David at a different stage of his life: as a young man (by Priscilla), as a middle-aged man (by Beth), and as a man facing the final third of his life (by Kay).

Can We Talk? Soul-Stirring Conversations with God
Can you think of a conversation that has the potential to transform your relationships, your marriage, your priorities, your passions, and even your purpose? Priscilla invites women to throw open the doors of communication with God. In this unique approach, Priscilla says, “I refer to this as the un-Bible study because the purpose isn't study. The purpose is to accept God's Word as an invitation to conversation.”  Relevant topics such as the power of words, hidden idols, complacency, and living a God-fashioned life will engage the hearts and minds of media-savvy, on-the-go women.

He Speaks to Me: Preparing to Hear from God
Priscilla Shirer draws life lessons from the account of God speaking to the boy Samuel. In this beloved Bible story found in 1 Samuel 3, she relates six characteristics found in Samuel that are applicable to women today as they tune their hearts to hear God's voice. These characteristics are: A Simple Relationship, A Set Apart Holiness, A Still Attentiveness, A Single-Minded Worship, A Sold Out Hunger, and A Servant's Spirit. By listening to God's voice and obeying Him, women will be drawn into a closer relationship to God that brings a deeper desire to serve Him faithfully.
