Conduct a Weekly Sunday School E-valuation

Written by David Francis

Whether you lead a Sunday School class or direct the entire Sunday School ministry, it's good to stop and evaluate the work from the previous week. You might want to conduct this quick weekly evaluation on Sunday afternoon, or on Wednesday. Just pick a day, and use the following "E" report to celebrate accomplishments and identify improvements. Use for yourself, your class, or your school.

This e-valuation form is also available as a free PDF download. Print it out and share it with your fellow Sunday School teachers.

Whew! Am I supposed to do something in every category every week? Of course not. This is just a quick review I’ve found helpful to remind myself of the basics I need to be working on regularly to have a healthy, growing Sunday School ministry.  Feel free to E-dapt it to fit your own situation.

David Francis is LifeWay's director of Sunday School. His latest book is Connect3 - The Power of One Sunday School Class. This is the fourth installment in the 3D Sunday School series following I-6 Invite: A Six-Lane Strategy toward an Inviting Sunday School and The Discover Triad: Three Facets of a Dynamic Sunday School Class. David has previously served as Minister of Education at First Baptist Church, Garland Texas, and currently teaches a preschool class on Sunday mornings.
