Thirty-seven years ago, Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary began in a local church setting in borrowed facilities with four professors and twenty-eight students. The Seminary now has an enrollment of 400 students on campuses in Cordova, Tennessee and Schenectady, New York.

From the beginning, Mid-America has sought to provide a world-class education and ministerial training at an affordable cost. Tuition has historically been very affordable due to the faithful provision of God and the generous support of churches and individuals. Mid-America offers quality facilities and convenient student housing at both campuses. Accredited resident degree programs at the associate, masters, and doctoral levels are available.

Mid-America boasts a distinctive faculty, willing to train students in the classroom as well as lead students by example. Each professor has significant ministry experience and holds an earned doctorate in their field of study. Each professor must also be an active soul-winner, and an active member of a local cooperating Southern Baptist Church.
