This year, why not ask for a Christmas gift that will encourage you and edify you in your calling as a Christian woman? Getting away for a spiritually refreshing and renewing weekend may be just the thing!

Sally and Clay Clarkson, authors of Educating the WholeHearted Child are once again sponsoring their WholeHearted Mother Conference. This year’s theme is the Ministry of Motherhood:

Every mother is called by God to ministry—you, above any others, are called to go into the world of your child’s heart to make a disciple of Jesus Christ. If you have accepted your mission as a mother, then you must now look to the Master to learn how to accomplish His ministry. Join us this year as we learn from the life of Christ what it means to minister to the disciples God has placed in our homes—our own children. Yes, you are called to the ministry. It is the ministry of motherhood.

The conference will be held in two locations:

Irvine, California (The Marriott Irvine) on January 30-31 and
Irving, Texas (The Harvey Hotel DFW) on February 13-14.

Sally has invited me to speak with her at both of these conferences. I am truly excited and looking for the Lord to do great things in the lives of all of us who attend. The Clarksons have been hosting the WholeHearted Mother Conference for seven years--it has been a source of blessing and a time of vision-expanding for multitudes of women from around the world.

Every hour of this WholeHearted Mother Conference is prayerfully and thoughtfully designed to minister to you!

Inspiration! Rediscover the joy and fulfillment of being a Christian mother through the inspirational, encouraging messages that Sally Clarkson and others will share with you.

Fellowship! Enjoy being with old friends and making new ones as you mingle with other wholehearted mothers from around the area, state, and other states.

Variety! Start the weekend with time for relaxing and shopping on Friday afternoon, followed by an enjoyable evening filled with singing, special music and presentations, and inspirational messages by Sally and others.

Lovely Luncheon! On Saturday, following a morning of memorable keynote messages, enjoy a delightful seated luncheon with inspirational music and fellowship.

Time to Relax! Take time to browse the WHBookstore book table and the invited vendor tables after lunch, relax and enjoy your friends, or shop in the area.

Time to Unwind! You can unwind in the relaxing atmosphere of a quality conference hotel, doing as much or as little as you want to do in the hotel, or around the area.

Restaurants! Enjoy the tasty menu selections from an inviting hotel restaurant, or suit your appetite from any of the many excellent restaurants in the area.

Praise & Worship! Clay Clarkson will act as emcee for the weekend and lead times of spirit-enriching praise and worship throughout the weekend, with both familiar and new choruses and hymns, accompanied by Sarah and Joel.

Laughter & More! Special guests will often drop in to deepen your laugh lines. Special music by Clay, Sarah and Joel will often lift your spirit. Nathan Clarkson will add a little “magic” to the mix, and Joy will throw in a liberal dose of “cute” to round out the family participation. There’s always more.

Workshops! Friday afternoon will feature two workshops on special topics, at 3:00 and 4:15. The pre-conference letter, mailed about two weeks before each conference, will provide details for those workshops.

Shopping! As always, shop at the WHBookstore book table to find our favorite selections of trusted and new heart-building books and resources. Also, enjoy shopping with other selected vendors.
